An important part of our production are our toppings, syrups and fillings. Our products are noted for their high-quality fruit and cocoa ingredients and their low sugar content. We continually develop and modernise our production and with that ensure a fast delivery of your orders, while our R&D team develops and creates tailor-made products based on high-quality ingredients.

FILLINGS & TOPPINGS FOR DAIRY & ICE CREAM INDUSTRY

Mercator-Emba produces a wide range of products suitable for dairy and ice cream industry:


  • Cocoa/chocolate type preparations
  • Caramel type products
  • Fruit preparations with fruit pieces, whole berries or purees
  • Others flavours like vanilla, nuts, eggs, etc.

Cocoa/chocolate/caramel type products


Cocoa/chocolate/caramel type products are homogeneous, viscous sauces that according to purpose and customer's requirements mainly consist of different high quality milk ingredients and fats, sugars, cocoa and chocolate products and other high quality raw materials used in making such products. They are applicable for milk based ice creams as toppings, swirls, pastes or for milk drinks.

We offer various packaging solutions:


  • Aseptic stainless steel containers – 450 or 1000 kg
  • Bag-in-box plastic containers – 250, 500, 1000 kg
  • Sealed plastic buckets – 20, 25 kg
  • Plastic bags – 1, 2 kg

Fruit based products


Fruit based products are manufactured from cut pieces of fruit or fruit in liquid form. They are appropriate for milk and water based ice creams, pastes, yoghurts and different milk drinks. Our fruit based products are produced with a high content of fruits from any known fruits or berries: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, sour cherries, apricot, raspberries, apples, pears, plums, orange or anything else and in any combination.


FILLINGS FOR BAKERY INDUSTRY


Mercator Emba offers a wide range of different fruit fillings used for:


  • adding to different types of cakes and biscuits
  • dosing into already baked finished products, like croissants and donuts
  • heat stable fillings designed to further baking

 

Characteristics:


Our fruit fillings have a fruit content of up to 50%; they are made from selected raw materials with a distinct flavour and smooth texture and according to purpose and customer’s requirements. We offer homogeneous fillings with fruit purees, pieces or whole berries.


They can be produced from any known fruits or berries: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, sour cherries, apricot, raspberries, apples, pears, plums or anything else and in any combination.

The fillings are applied by injecting or spreading on the products after baking. They have a light, smooth and creamy texture, which creates the perfect taste when combined with pastry.


Excellent baking and cooking stability, freshness and volume of our heat stable fillings are characteristics that are perfect for bakeries, but also for industrial application due to freeze/thaw stability.


Packaging:


The fruit based products are available in sealed plastic buckets – 20, 25 kg

It certifies that we are meeting the criteria of safe food manufacturing based on the HACCP system as well as the strictest criteria of manufacturing and hygienic policies.

UTZ


It was acquired in 2014 and certifies that our cocoa products have been sourced in a sustainable manner.

IFS


The certificate proves good manufacturing and hygienic practices and with that ensures the safety of our products.

SQMS

The certificate is awarded by McDonald's corporation and ensures that we fulfil all criteria of quality as their suppliers of food products.
